This application proposes Registered Building Consent for the re-positioning of internal kitchen door.

### Assessment / Recommendation

I have considered the content of the application with particular consideration to Policy RB/5 Alterations and Extensions to a Registered Building as set out in Planning Policy Statement 1/01.

The applicant seeks to form an opening from the Hallway into the Kitchen which will involve removal of and blocking up of the door into what the applicant calls the Day Lounge. I consider that the alterations are relatively minor and would not affect the character of the registered building.

I would ask that the new doorway utilises the architetraving and door removed. If this is not possible, then a new door and architraving should be made to match that door in every detail.

I therefore Recommend Approved.

C 1. The development hereby permitted shall commence before the expiration of four years from the date of this notice.

C 2. This approval relates to the Location Plan, Floor Plan and photographs appended to the application and date stamped 11th September 2006.

C 3. Prior to the commencement of the works a full photographic survey of the Kitchen, Utility Room and Breakfast Room of this property is to be carried out and provided for approval by the Planning Committee.

C 4.

The new doorway should utilise the architetraving and door removed from the Kitchen to Day Lounge. If this is not possible, then a new door and architraving should be made to match that door in every detail.
