## The Town And Country Planning Act 1999

The Town and Country Planning (Development Procedure) Order 2019

Lowline Ltd

In pursuance of her powers under the above Act and Order/Regulations, the Minister for the Department of the Environment, Food and Agriculture, the Hon C Barber MHK does hereby in the name of and on behalf of the Department REFUSE planning application 24/00106/B by Lowline Ltd for Demolition of existing dwelling; construction of 2 replacement dwellings; minor relocation of existing entrance and formation of new entrance - East View Sulby Bridge Sulby IM7 2EU for the following reason:-

### Reason For Refusal:

1. Whilst there is no objection in principle to residential development of this site, and nor would there be any harm to the established character and appearance of the area, there would be unacceptable harm to the living conditions of the occupiers of No 6 Carrick Park with particular regard to privacy, prejudicing use of the rear garden. That brings the development into conflict with General Policy 2(g) and (k) and the Residential Design Guide, which seek to protect such interests.
