# CON Consultation 1 Highways

Hi Helen, Dawn, From the Planning List 27 October and excluding planning applications with suffix ‘CON’ and reconsultations, the following new planning applications have highway related impacts and will be subject to a separate response:  23/01198/C

The following planning applications have no significant negative impact upon the highway network in terms of highway safety, highway operation and car parking. Highway Services HDC does not oppose (DNO) the following applications. Advisory comments are applied where relevant, such as for licences to use the highway for equipment and material during works:

-  23/01125/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking.
-  23/01170/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, subject to details of secure cycle parking provision being conditioned (applicant needs to provide one space per bedroom on the site).
-  23/01172/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, as the site is accessed by a good condition private road in a country type estate with suitable accesses onto the public highway. Bin facilities would be similar to the adjacent house. The Applicant is advised to consider an EV charging point on the site to aid net zero objectives and secure cycle parking for the residents.
-  23/01186/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking.
-  23/01192/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, as the area is a low traffic rural area and the proposals are accessed off a private road then onto the public highway, both with adequate access visibility. The Applicant is advised to consider an EV charging point on the site to aid net zero objectives for the residents.
-  23/01204/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, as the site is in the sustainable location of the city centre with parking provision and restrictions on local vicinity streets.
-  23/01217/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, as the site is in a sustainable town centre location and there is a service road adjacent to the site that can safely cater for any parking demand from the site over and above the driveway provided once the proposals are constructed.
-  23/01219/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking.
-  23/01222/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking.
-  23/01224/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking.

-  23/01225/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, subject to the access and layout conditioned as per approved plan before occupation of the extensions. A S109 highway agreement will be required for any extension to the dropped kerb footway for the widened access.
-  23/01226/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking.
-  23/01232/B – After reviewing this Application, Highway Services HDC finds it to have no significant negative impact upon highway safety, network functionality and/or parking, as the site is in a sustainable town centre location with parking restrictions and the dwelling has a garage for vehicle/cycle storage.

Highway Services HDC has no interest (NHI) in:

-  23/01176/B
-  23/01184/B
-  23/01190/B
-  23/01191/C
-  23/01193/B
-  23/01196/B
