From: Costain, Sophie (DEFA) To: DEFA, Planning Conditions Subject: PA 24/10085/AIR - Information in relation to conditions 2, 3 & 5 of PA 23/01057/B, DoI Pillar, Glen Road,

Good afternoon The Ecosystem Policy Team can confirm that we are content with Ecology Vannin’s Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) dated January 2024 and Invasive Species Management Plan dated 2024 . All works must be undertaken in line with the recommended mitigation/protection measures, with the addition that biodegradable oil must be used in all plant and machinery. However, we do not see that information has yet been provided which satisfies Condition 5 – “No works of development on site shall commence prior to the submission of a habitat mitigation plan, written by a suitably qualified ecological consultancy, has been provided to DEFA Planning and approved in writing. The plan should contain details of propionate habitat replacement works, alongside a timetable for implementation. The development shall be carried out in accordance with the approved details.” Best wishes
