Good morning

RE: PA 24/10062/AIR - Information in relation to conditions 3 and 4 of PA 23/01192/B for bird and bat boxes / nesting habitats, Lower Ballavarkish, Grenaby Road

The Ecosystem Policy Team can confirm that we are largely content with the proposed type, number and location of bat and bird boxes an structures on the site, as shown in the Ecology Plan (drawing No. 003). However, we worry about the location of the Ark Black Bird Nest Box, as it is right next to the garage doors in a location that may be frequently disturbed by people and cars. We believe it is unlikely to be used in this location. We understand that nothing can be mounted on the east elevation of the barn as this is the boundary of the property. So we think the best location for the box will probably be the west elevation of the main house as this will be facing on to vegetation in the adjacent property.

Best wishes
