In this instance of the submitted set up and take down of Duke TT Village cover letter and after consultation with the case officer, who are happy with the level of detail, it is deemed sufficient to achieve the desired outcome and would be considered satisfactory for the planning condition 1 of application 23/00287/B with the understanding that these agreed dates shall be fully adhered too.

## Officer’s Report

1.0 Description - 1.1 The proposed application 23/00284/B for the temporary TT Accommodation and associated facilities for 2023 and 2024 only was approved on 11.04.2023 subject to 3 conditions one of which required submission of additional information prior to the commencement of works. - 1.2 This report is specific to Condition 1 which the applicants are seeking to satisfy. - 1.3 Specific wording of the condition as follows:

- 2023 - The temporary building/s hereby approved on this site shall not be in situ before the 12th May 2023 and shall be removed from the site by the 17th June 2023. The use hereby approved shall not be in operation before the 26th May 2023 or after the 12th June 2023.

- The site shall be restored to its former condition within 5 days of the temporary building/s being removed.
- 2024 - Prior to the occupation/use of the land for the temporary TT Accommodation and associated facilities as for the 2024 TT, dates shall be submitted to and approved in writing by the Department for the 2024 TT periods which outline the setup, operation and take down periods/dates. These agreed dates shall be fully adhered too.

Reason: The application has been approved as an exception to the Development Plan on the basis of need for the TT event only and for a period of two years as proposed by the application. Exact dates for the 2024 TT are not yet known.

2.0 Proposal - 2.1 The applicant's agent have now submitted a cover letter advising the dates that the set up will begin for the expected date the site will be cleared for. They propose first install on the 1st May for hotel operational on the 24th of May, removal commencing on the 11th June with full removal expected by the 30th June.

3.0 Recommendation - 3.1 In this instance of the submitted set up and take down of Duke TT Village cover letter and after consultation with the case officer, who are happy with the level of detail, it is deemed sufficient to achieve the desired outcome and would be considered satisfactory for the planning condition 1 of application 23/00287/B with the understanding that these agreed dates shall be fully adhered too.

I can confirm that this decision has been made by a Principal Planner in accordance with the authority afforded to that Officer by the appropriate DEFA Delegation and that in making this decision the Officer has agreed the recommendation in relation to who should be afforded Interested Person Status.
