TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1999 The Town and Country Planning (Telecommunications) Development Order 2019

In pursuance of powers granted under the above Act and Order the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture determined to REFUSE an application by Sure IOM Ltd, Ref 20/00257/TEL, for the Prior Approval application for the erection of a 15 meter shrouded monopole and associated telecoms cabinets under schedule 3 of Telecoms Order 2019 at Vacant Plot Woodbourne Lane Douglas Isle Of Man .

Any reasons or notes which apply to this decision are set out below.

It is considered that it cannot be determined that the development would not have a harmful impact on the visual impact on residential amenity; the visual impact on the character and appearance of the area; the impact on any designated conservation area and thus fails to accord with Schedule 7 a (part), b and c and Schedule 8 of the Order.
