Highway Comments: The site is in the town centre. The existing site access arrangements would remain unchanged. There is no site parking and no room to create such. According to the parking standards, the existing office parking demand is 3 spaces based on a floor area of approximately 160sqm as scaled from the plan submitted. The proposed residential demand would be 2 spaces. The proposal should therefore decrease the site parking demand during the day by 1 space although parking would be required in the evenings and overnight for residential use. There is public parking available in the town centre area which should be able to adequately serve the development so no new highway issues should arise from the proposals.

Highway Services does not oppose the application.
