TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1999 The Town and Country Planning (Registered Building) Regulations 2013

In pursuance of powers granted under the above Act and Order the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture determined to APPROVE an application by Mr Richard Henthorn, Ref 18/00773/CON, for the Registered Building consent for the installation of replacement flooring to upper hall. Registered Building Nos. 227 at Laxey Workingmens Institute 17 New Road Laxey Isle Of Man IM4 7BD subject to compliance with the following condition(s) and notes (if any):

- 1. The works hereby granted registered building consent shall be begun before the expiration of four years from the date of this consent.

Reason: To comply with paragraph 2(2)(a) of schedule 3 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1999 and to avoid the accumulation of unimplemented registered building consents.

- 2. The flooring used must be that in the details specified in the Product Data Sheet SOL-GA-20-208 by UK FLOORING DIRECT. Reason: To ensure the satisfactory preservation of this registered building.

This Consent relates to site location plan, supporting statement, product data sheet SOLGA-20-208 all date stamped and received 23 July 2018 and 4 images included in email dated 23 July 2018.

This decision was made by a Principal Planner in accordance with the authority delegated to them.

Any appeal against this decision must be in accordance with the criteria set down in that instrument.

Specifically, a valid appeal must be in writing, signed by the appellant, and submitted to the Department within 21 days of the date of this Notice. To further validate the appeal it must contain:

-  Payment of a planning appeal fee as prescribed in the Town and Country Planning (Application and Appeal Fees) (No2) Order 2016 (currently £175);
-  The reasons for making the appeal; and
-  An election to have the appeal conducted by means of an inquiry (a hearing) or by means of written representation.
