Hi Dan Having waded through the planning history to attempt to understand the condition, it is apparent that its purpose was to ensure that the replacement towers emulate the (previously) existing buildings. Having looked at the window designs of the (now demolished) building, I am not happy to approve the designs proposed as the opening method, frame sizes and fenestration pattern is too far removed from the existing. The top opening casement elements are too heavy in comparison to the sash openers in the existing photo, whilst the ground floor windows would benefit from the horizontal mullion being positioned half way down the window, is per the existing. I have included an extract of the proposed styles, and photos of the existing tower windows.

Are you happy to give this feedback to the applicant, or would you prefer me to go back directly? Thanks Tom
