In this instance of the submitted application, plan of external finishes as well submission note and after consultation with the case officer, who are happy with the level of detail, it is deemed sufficient to achieve the desired outcome and would be considered satisfactory for the planning condition 17 of application 22/00549/B.

## Officer’s Report

1.0 Description - 1.1 The proposed application 22/00549/B for the creation of a parkland campus facility comprising of a head-quarters office building with restaurant, café, collaborative working areas and 66 associated staff accommodation units with associated landscaping was approved on 22/08/2022 subject to 18 conditions some of which required submission of additional information prior to the commencement of works. - 1.2 This report is specific to Condition 17 which the applicants are seeking to satisfy. - 1.3 Specific wording of the condition as follows:

"C17. No development shall commence until a schedule of materials and finishes and samples of the materials to be used in the construction of the external surfaces, including roofs, have been submitted to and approved in writing by the Planning Authority. The development shall not be carried out unless strictly in accordance with the approved details.

Reason: In the interests of the character and appearance of the site and surrounding area."

2.0 Proposal - 2.1 The applicant's agent have now submitted an application form, proposed building materials 230825 document and condition 17 submission note which document the various external surfaces, including roofs of the development.

3.0 Recommendation - 3.1 In this instance of the submitted application, plan of external finishes as well submission note and after consultation with the case officer, who are happy with the level of detail, it is deemed sufficient to achieve the desired outcome and would be considered satisfactory for the planning condition 17 of application 22/00549/B.

I can confirm that this decision has been made by a Principal Planner in accordance with the authority afforded to that Officer by the appropriate DEFA Delegation and that in making this decision the Officer has agreed the recommendation in relation to who should be afforded Interested Person Status.
