# Highways Comment

## Representation from the Department of Infrastructure (DOI) Highways Division–

Highway Services Comment made Do not oppose with condition/comment Highways Representation history for this case. DNOC on 29/09/17 Conditions (if any)

The proposal is to change a ground floor office to a beauty therapy room. The building is a traditional terrace with no off-street parking provided in an area that is has a mix of uses on a main road on the outskirts of Douglas town centre; there are good public transport and pedestrian routes serving the site.

Both the extant and proposed use will generate traffic albeit at different levels and different times, however the impact of such changes will not be detectable in light of the level of background traffic and parking patterns.

Highway Services does not oppose this applciation.
