# Decision Notice

Mr Timothy Groves Berk Farmhouse Peel Road Kirk Michael IM6 1AP

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1999 The Town and Country (Control of Advertisements) Regulations 2013

In pursuance of powers granted under the above Act and Order the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture determined to REFUSE an application by Carrera Digital Ltd, Ref 16/00949/D, for the Erection of a digital advertisement board at 44 Strand Street Douglas Isle Of Man IM1 2EG for the following reason(s):

1. The application seeks consent for a digital hoarding to display generic advertisements unrelated to the building upon which it is to be attached. The proposal would display a variety of changing digital images giving rise to unwarranted clutter that would detract from the appearance of the area and be contrary to General Policy 7 of the Isle of Man Strategic Plan 2016.

Date of Issue: 16th January 2017
