In the days when I worked for the SPMC&E we tried hard to preserve the appearance of this attractive, quasi Georgian, terrace. A Conservation Area, is it not? It is the only bit of Douglas which looks as though it escaped from Bath!

I sincerely hope that the Planning Committee has continued to exert this protection in principle?

Having said that, I don't see any great objection to this present submission as long as the windows, even in plastic, reasonably mimic the original ones? (and match the rest of the terrace?)
