## Representation from the Department of Infrastructure (DOI) Highways Division–

Highway Services Comment made

Oppose

Highways Representation history for this case.

O on 15/08/17

Conditions (if any)

The proposal is to remove a garden wal and create off road car parking. The length available for parking is less than that required for a car parking space and parking a car in this location will result in a the vehicle causing an obstruction on the highway. At this location the highway is a lane approximately 4m wide and provides vehicular and pedestrian access to several properties.

Highway Services requestes that the application is refused on the grounds that it does not satisfy GP 2(h) by not providing satisfactory space for a car parking space.
