Dear Sir/Madam

**Ref: Planning Application: 20/01019/B – Erection of detached building to store privately owned motor vehicles – The Paddocks, Jurby Industrial Estate, Jurby**

I refer to the above planning application.

A Fire Safety Officer has examined the application and has made comment.

The Fire Safety Department wish to object to this application as the industrial estate has been identified as having insufficient water supplies for the fire risk of the existing units. We would recommend that the water infrastructure is reviewed and enhanced prior to any further development in this area.

Yours faithfully

**Divisional Officer Carl Kinvig AIFireE**
**Senior Fire Safety Officer**

Cc. The Applicant
